Thumbs down new nationals grades

what does everyone think of the new nationals grades, in particular, girls fresh out of juniors, because if you havnt twigged yet, this affects you the most.
have a nice long wait while you try and get into a nationals side because your state is only picking 7 girls aged 16 - 24...

they are
mens
mens second division (wow, now there is a gender bias)
womens
senior mixed

intermediate boys U21
intermediate girls U24

junior open
junior mixed

sub juniors U12

Thumbs down Wtf

What worries me is that they have decided to change the age group to 16-24's for the 2008 perth nats and then change it back again to under 21's for the 2010 Vic nats a whole age group of girls will totally miss out on a fair shot.

So how many girls are nominating for the mens U21 team for nationals? Its actually legal I'm pretty sure for girls to play in the guys, but guys can't play in the girls...

I agree, why not have an Intermediate Mixed... they are now creating it harder for the smaller states to get a team in the intermediate grades, Its just not fair to anyone, the girls, the smaller states who will struggle to field a full team of inter men and u24 girls... It is one of the worst decisions about the sport made in a while.

Default Nationals

Are the 2008 Nationals even going to go ahead? Will W.A. allow interstate travel with the threat of EI?
