The season is over and you'll turn 'em out to spell. Has been a wondrous year that seen so many do so well. The weekends now seem empty and at night time phones are quiet, till next year when again you'll sign up to drive for miles on Friday nights.
It's a game that keeps you young, one all aged people can enjoy. I love the smell of horse sweat, and I admire each girl and boy. Who takes up the challenge to play polocrosse, for they will never want for friends. It's a fast and furious game of skill and the mateship never ends. So roll up your swag for the summer, put the big wool coat away, you'll need them again in Warwick next year, when you get back into the fray. Turn that tired pony out and let him spell in quiet leisure Then turn your self to the job at hand while you plan to win next years treasures. by Nendy |
