With less than a year before the World Cup the Irish squad has been assembled and preparations are well under way. The teams have been training over the course this year's polocrosse season and have recently had a successful outing during the annual Tri-Nations tournament between Ireland, UK and Wales.

This also served as a warm-up for the World Cup and gave the national coaches a chance to assess players, positions, line-ups and strategy. Confidence is high in the team Ireland camp and the squad are looking forward to the challenge of the 2011 World Cup.
