The heat has finally subsided enough that we can start playing this wonderful game again. All our members have been busy these last few months finding new members to play with us, and now we have more people than horses, an obstacle we are trying to overcome as quickly as possible.
A full size field has been put in, dirt not grass as we have no water yet, but better than nothing.
Speaking of fields, ours has come up a bit too soft for the obvious reason that we are in the desert. If anyone could give me some ideas on what to put on it to firm it up, I would be very grateful. Just dont say grass because no water yet.
Our Zambian tour was excellent fun for all, both on and off the field. Just did not want to leave. A big thankyou to Doug Evans and his Livingstone club.
We will start holding practices again starting next Friday...cant wait. Neither can my horse ha ha........
