We would like to inform you about Germany's first official Polocrosse Club. The "Reit- und Polocrosse-Verein Kananohe e.V." is based in Langenhagen-Kananohe, a small pretty village close to Hannover, Lower-Saxony, Germany.
Club-President and owner is Mrs. Kirsten Breschke. The club has many stables, a polocrosse ground, a riding hall and other facilities, which our members, friends and visitors can use for practicing. Our training-times are once a week and anybody who wants to join us is welcome.
The club has been running for three years now and we hold our own tournaments as well as entering international ones. Last year we competed in tournaments in Holland and came away with some pleasing results. For the coming season we are looking forward to playing many more chukkas and games and expanding the popularity of polocrosse throughout Germany.
If you have any questions or need more information please check our homepage www.polocrosse-deutschland.de or contact me by phone or e-mail.
Please email us about your club and tournaments. Reports and photos are most welcome.

Bombs to Beef by Barbara Jephcott
Bombs to Beef is the authentic story of the development of a cattle station at the foot of Shaggy Ridge in PNG, the site of a famous WW2 battle from late 1943-44.The remnants of this campaign left Dumpu cattle station with a good airstrip, some wrecked aircraft, bomb holes, some live 25lb artillery shells and souvenirs. A few soldiers from rural Australia recognised a potential for cattle production on the Ramu Valley grasslands. They proved to be right.
