Humpty Doo logo

What a Weekend!!!!!

Humpty Doo Club had five sides, an A Grade, two B Grades, one C Grade and a team of Subbies.

We won the subbies, C Grade, B Grade and Runners Up in the A Grade.

The Humpty Doo Hilton (tent) was up and running with the Hilton packed with players and spectators all cheering on our sides! Great fun was had by all our members and it was good to see old faces back at polocrosse again.

We also would like to thank the interstate players that come up and helped us out. They were Justin Hafey, Andrew Philips and Shane Gerke all from QLD. We had a successful coaching day on Friday with many of the polocrosse fraternity turning up for the coaching.

Results as follows:

AIS Report 2004

In April 2004 I was nominated to attend the coaching clinic hosted by the Australian Institute of Sport.

I was flown down to Canberra and was among many great polocrosse coaches and players. This gave me professional advice and very useful hints on how to ride through a game. I also attended lectures given by experienced and professional people in this field.

I had a fantastic time and I believe I gained sound knowledge of horsemanship skills and a very positive attitude towards the game.

I was happy to be part of the grand plan for young people and to be highly recommended.
