The first test will be played at Yass on 20-21 April and the second at Bungendore on 27-28 April. Members of the Australian team will be required to attend the Elite Junior Coaching Camp being held at the AIS, Canberra, from 9-13 April.
All Clubs have received the information and nomination forms. Forms must be received by the PAA by 5.00 pm on Wednesday 20th February.
The Australian Selectors will meet in February to select the Australian team.
NEW HELMETS - PAA RULING
At their last meeting the PAA (on recommendation from the Australian Chief Umpire) resolved that effective from 1 January 2002, all players who take to the field are required to wear a helmet with Standards Australia Number ASNZ3838.
Many clubs have sourced discount helmets through bulk purchases to soften the blow. Helmets will be checked at practices prior to commencement of the season and will also be checked at the first couple of carnivals.
