I have received 2 emails from polocrosse people who are attempting to establish the sport in France and Portugal. See the Links page under "General Polocrosse Sites" for links to their websites. The emails are reproduced below:

France
This email to let you know that there is a starting activity of polocrosse in France. To date, we are only able to line up 2 teams but we try to gain some players by presenting polocrosse demo all over France.
In April the whole team will attend a training session at (UK national team capitain) Jason Burbidge's barn.
In May, we will participate in the V nations tournament in Penines. In addition to that, we are setting links with Portugal team: http://turismoequestre.no.sapo.pt/polocrosse/
Our web site is at http://hensonpolocrosse.free.fr/
Picture attached has been taken on May 2005, while playing polocrosse on the beach with Jason.

Portugal
We're ANTREC - Associação Nacional de Equitação de Exterior e TREC (National Outdoor Riding and TREC Association) and we also trying to develop and promote polocrosse all over the country. At the present moment we only have 4 teams in competition (seniors) and 3 teams (young riders), but with all the effort that we’re making to promote this sport, we think that next year we'll have possibilities to start up a National Championship here in Portugal.
Kindly visit our site http://www.antrec.be or directly to polocrosse: http://polocrosse.antrec.be
If you need any more information please do not hesitate in contact me.
Best Regards
