Tri Nations Report - July 2010
It was an early start on Friday morning for the first departure on the ferry at 8am from Dublin port. There were 3 International teams and 3 club sides bringing a total of 42 horses to Chester all with one common goal…show them Ireland is a country to be reckoned with on the International Polocrosse circuit. |

Last weekend the 4 Nations Polocrosse Cup took place at the "Dop heets Del" in Kootwijkerbroek, Holland. The "best" players from France, Germany, Norway and Holland played against each other in sunny Kootwijkerbroek. This as a preparation for the World Cup in 2011 in the UK. |

Co.Wexford based Horetown Polocrosse Club are celebrating 20 years of Polocrosse and have planned a major calendar of events to mark this occasion. Known as both the home and the birthplace of Polocrosse in Ireland, the sport has now developed with eight clubs nationwide and being recently affiliated to Horse Sport Ireland. |

4 Nations Polocrosse Cup 4, 5 and 6 June 2010
The Dutch Polocrosse Association organise the 4 Nations Polocrosse Cup at Kootwijkerbroek, Holland. The best players of all "new European polocrosse countries" France, Norway, Germany and Holland will play against each other. This event is in preparation for the World Cup 2011 in the UK, where these new European countries will play in a B-pool. |
